Virginia Cavaliers Football Player Charged in Rape and Abduction Case
22-year-old Jahmal Edrine, who played for UVA football this past season but is not currently enrolled, was arrested Feb. 5 and charged with one count of rape and one count of abduction after an Albemarle County Police Department investigation into a reported sexual assault. He is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
