Sting Ray Robb, an A.J. Foyt Racing driver, was released from Mercy One Des Moines Medical Center after a severe crash during the final lap of the NTT IndyCar Series race at Iowa Speedway. Santino Ferrucci drove AJ Foyt Racing to their best Indy 500 finish since 2000, coming in third place behind Josef Newgarden and Pato O'Ward.
