Milford police responded to a report of a man with a gun near a movie theater, which was later identified as an airsoft BB gun; the theater was temporarily locked down, but there was no active threat.
A man identified as Thomas Johnson was shot and wounded by Canandaigua Police in New York after he pointed what appeared to be a handgun at an officer. The police officers tried to stop him with Tasers, but Johnson turned towards them and pointed the gun. He was later found to have an Airsoft pistol on him. Johnson is in stable condition at Strong Memorial Hospital.
