Spirit Airlines Passenger Uses Apple Watch to Find Stolen Luggage at Employee's Home
A Spirit Airlines passenger, Paola Garcia, tracked her stolen luggage to the home of Junior Bazile, an airport employee, using a pinging Apple Watch. Garcia found her suitcase but her valuables were missing. Bazile was arrested and charged with grand theft, and Garcia suspects a larger theft operation at the airport. Spirit Airlines reimbursed Garcia and is investigating the incident.
