Indonesia hunts for missing fisheries surveillance plane carrying 11 on board
Indonesian rescuers are searching for an ATR 42-500 fisheries surveillance aircraft that lost contact with air traffic control around Maros in South Sulawesi while en route to Makassar from Yogyakarta; the 11 people on board—eight crew and three ministry staff—were aboard a government-chartered plane, and about 400 personnel have been deployed to search the area, though bad weather is hampering the operation.
