Southwest Airlines is offering a new way to earn its Companion Pass by signing up for a new Southwest Rapid Rewards Consumer Credit Card from Chase and spending $4,000 within the first three months of opening the account. This pass allows holders to designate one companion to fly with them for just the cost of taxes and fees. In addition to the pass, new cardmembers will also receive 30,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points. The offer is available until March 11, 2024, and comes with various perks depending on the chosen card, such as 2X points on local transit and commuting purchases and upgraded boarding opportunities. Southwest is also making upgrades to its onboard experience and considering adding red-eye overnight flights to its roster.
