Ryanair may have to raise flight prices by 5% to 10% and cut routes this summer due to Boeing 737 Max production delays, which will result in fewer aircraft than expected. The airline was slated to receive 57 Boeing 8200 aircraft by April but will now only receive around 50 by June. If the delivery shortfall persists, Ryanair may carry only 200 million passengers instead of the previously forecasted 205 million for the upcoming financial year. The airline is in discussions with Boeing for compensation over the delays and may consider purchasing Boeing 737 Max 10 aircraft if other carriers cancel their orders.
