Ukraine's ATACMS Strikes Intensify, Targeting Key Russian Defenses
Russia has acknowledged that a key air defence system and an air base in the Kursk region were hit by US-supplied Atacms missiles from Ukraine, marking a significant escalation in the conflict. The Russian Defence Ministry reported that two of the five missiles reached their targets, causing damage and casualties, and promised retaliatory measures. This comes amid heightened tensions following the US's reported approval for Ukraine to use Atacms missiles on Russian soil. Concurrently, Ukraine faced a record drone attack from Russia, impacting critical infrastructure and power supply.
