JetBlue A321 Tips Backwards at JFK Airport

A JetBlue Airbus A321 tipped on its tail after landing at JFK airport in New York. The incident, which occurred on October 22, 2023, is believed to be due to a weight and balance issue, with too much weight in the back of the aircraft and not enough in the front. No injuries were reported, but the aircraft has been taken out of service for inspection. Tipping incidents are rare but more common with the 737-900 rather than the A321.
