Russian General Sergei Surovikin has been fired from his position as commander-in-chief of the aerospace forces, following his association with the Wagner rebellion. Russian drones have targeted grain infrastructure in the Odesa region, damaging production and transhipment complexes. This attack is part of a series of strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure for exporting crops, leading to higher food prices. Russian air defenses shot down three Ukrainian drones in Moscow and its surrounding region, causing surface damage to buildings. This marks the sixth consecutive strike on the Russian capital. In eastern Ukraine, three civilians were killed and two injured in Russian bombardments near Lyman. Russia is accused of deliberately targeting civilians to break their will and force acceptance of Russian control.
