The Amlogic S905X5 is an upcoming Armv9 processor designed for set-top boxes and TV boxes, featuring support for the latest AV1 and H.266 video codecs, as well as a 4 TOPS AI accelerator. The processor is expected to be used in an upcoming Android TV box by SEI Robotics, which will also incorporate AI super-resolution (AI-SR) technology for improved image quality. The release date for the Amlogic S905X5 "Ai-SR" Android TV box has not been announced yet.
