Ahmir Jolliff, an 11-year-old sixth-grader, was tragically killed in a school shooting at Perry High School in Iowa. Known as "Smiley" at home, he was excited to return to school after the holidays and was described as outgoing and well-loved. The school's principal, Dan Marburger, who died while trying to protect his students, is in critical condition. The shooter, Dylan Butler, also turned the gun on himself. The investigation revealed that Marburger acted selflessly to protect his students, and an emergency fund has been started to assist with his medical bills.
