Woman charged with robbing deceased retired MPD officer

Shuntae Daniels is facing multiple charges, including aggravated burglary, theft of property, and identity theft, after allegedly robbing former Memphis police officer Mark Lesure. Surveillance video reportedly shows Daniels on the phone saying, "We are going to see who knows the law," shortly before Lesure collapsed. Daniels admitted to taking Lesure's cell phone and wallet, as well as $10 he was going to give her, and later used his phone to send herself $1,500, which she spent on shoes and salon services. Daniels had previously been jailed for allegedly shooting at a car with children inside.

Hotel Manager Arrested for Assaulting Guest in Tennessee Hilton

A night manager at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Nashville, David Neal, has been charged with aggravated burglary and assault after he allegedly entered a guest's room and sucked on his toes. Neal claimed he entered the room to check on the guest after smelling smoke, but the guest reported that Neal had entered his room the day before to address a TV issue. Neal was arrested and jailed on a $27,000 bond.

Luis Talamantes-Romero convicted of Jacqueline Vigil's murder

Luis Talamantes-Romero has been found guilty of first-degree murder and multiple other charges for killing Jacqueline Vigil, the mother of two New Mexico State Police officers, in her own driveway in 2019. The jury also found him guilty of two counts of aggravated burglary with a deadly weapon, attempted armed robbery, tampering with evidence, larceny, and conspiracy to tamper with evidence and commit aggravated burglary.
