Russian airstrikes and dam breach cause death and destruction in Ukraine.

Russian forces fired cruise missiles at Odesa and shelled Donetsk, killing at least six people. Ukraine claims to have made advances in its counteroffensive against Russia, with its deputy defence minister claiming that Russia is losing almost nine times more soldiers than Ukraine. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said that Ukrainians are "making progress" with their counteroffensive, which could bolster their position when there's an opportunity to reach a diplomatic end to the war with Russia.
