
Illinois dominates NCAA Men's Golf Championship leaderboard.
The No. 3-seeded Fighting Illini men's golf team surged to the top of the leaderboard at the NCAA Championship after 36 holes, thanks to four scores in the 60s and favorable morning conditions. Adrien Dumont de Chassart, Matthis Besard, and Jackson Buchanan all shot 2-under 68, while Tommy Kuhl shot 1-under 69, giving the Illini a team total of 7-under 283 in Round 2. The Illini are followed by No. 9 Florida in second place, while Georgia Tech and North Carolina are tied for third.
