Kayaker's Fishing Trip Takes a Deadly Turn in Canada
A kayaker in Nova Scotia had an unexpected encounter when he hooked a juvenile great white shark while fishing for bass. The massive creature swam beneath his kayak and leaped out of the water, exposing its full size. Concerned for his safety, the kayaker cut the line when the shark swam under him a second time. Experts identified the shark as a 6 to 8-foot-long juvenile great white weighing between 200 and 250 pounds. The kayaker described it as the biggest fish he had ever hooked and considered it the biggest adrenaline rush of his life.
