WhatsApp is enhancing its Channels feature with voice updates, polls, and the ability to share updates to personal WhatsApp Status. Channel owners can now send voice updates and post polls to engage with followers, while also being able to add up to 16 admins per channel. The update aims to improve engagement and interaction within the platform, as WhatsApp notes that over 500 million people are using Channels monthly.
Microsoft has introduced a new policy that allows administrators to control the deployment of optional updates on Windows 10 enterprise endpoints. This policy can be configured as a Group Policy Object (GPO) or a Configuration Service Provider (CSP) policy, giving administrators the ability to choose how monthly preview updates are delivered to users across the organization. Users will have the option to automatically receive optional updates, receive only the latest optional cumulative updates, or select which optional updates to receive. The policy respects configured quality update deferral settings, and users who do not make a selection will eventually receive the updates as part of a security or feature update. This feature was previously introduced for Windows 11.
