Elgato has released the Prompter, an all-in-one teleprompter and additional monitor that connects to a PC or laptop via USB-C. Priced at $279.99, it offers a nine-inch display, support for various cameras, and Elgato's own teleprompter software. The Prompter can be used for video calls, presentations, and YouTube videos, providing eye contact and easy script reading. It also functions as a regular display for Mac or Windows PCs. Elgato's Camera Hub app allows customization of font size, colors, and scroll speed. The Prompter comes with step-up rings for attaching to camera lenses and offers quarter-inch threads and cold-shoe mounts for accessories. Elgato's Stream Deck plug-in enables convenient control of the teleprompter.
