Adam Hagen's Life Remembered: Purdue Educator and Outdoorsman Dies at 44
Adam Benjamin Hagen, 44, of rural Benton County, died January 17, 2026 after a battle with cancer. Born February 16, 1981 in Willmar, Minnesota, he married Kay Hostetler in 2003 and is survived by his wife, daughter Anna, his parents, siblings, and in-laws; he was preceded in death by his older brother Benjamin. An outdoorsman and longtime Purdue University employee, Adam loved teaching and cherished family moments, including congratulating Anna on her Purdue admission two days before his death. Memorial contributions are asked to support Anna's college fund via ugift. Visitation is January 26, 2026, with a service to follow at Forever Grace Church in West Lafayette.
