Devils and Wild Swap Beckman for Clarke in AHL Forward Trade
The Minnesota Wild traded forward Adam Beckman to the New Jersey Devils for winger Graeme Clarke in a swap of restricted free agents. Beckman, a former WHL Player of the Year, struggled to produce in the NHL, while Clarke led the AHL's Utica in goals last season. Both players were drafted in the third round in 2019. Additionally, former Wild assistant coach Darby Hendrickson has joined the Nashville Predators' coaching staff. The Wild's preseason schedule includes six games starting on September 21.
