Iowa Police Chief Convicted of Illegal Machine Gun Purchases
Adair Police Chief Brad Wendt has been convicted on 11 of 15 federal charges, including illegally selling guns purchased for the department and making false statements to the ATF. Wendt abused his position to buy over two dozen machine guns and will be sentenced at a later date.
