Paul Reubens' Cause of Death Confirmed: Cancer Spread to Lungs
The cause of death for actor Paul Reubens, known for his iconic character Pee-wee Herman, has been revealed as acute hypoxic respiratory failure. Reubens, who died in July at the age of 70, had been battling two types of cancer for several years. Throughout his career, Reubens achieved success with Pee-wee's Playhouse, a CBS Saturday morning children's program, and starred in films such as Pee-wee's Big Adventure. He also faced controversies, including an arrest for indecent exposure in 1991 and charges of possessing obscene material in 2002, which were eventually dropped. Reubens made a comeback in 2010 with a revival of The Pee-wee Herman Show and produced a third Pee-wee film in 2015.
