False Reports of Shooters Cause Lockdowns at Multiple Louisville Schools
Louisville Metro Police responded to reports of active aggressors at duPont Manual High School and Fredrick Law Olmsted Academy North, but no aggressors were found. Both schools have been cleared. Other cities, including Evansville, Lexington, and Cincinnati, also received "swatting" calls. Jefferson County Public Schools implemented heightened security protocols, and students were evacuated at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington, but no weapons were found. The incidents are being investigated as "bogus calls."
