Boygenius, the trio of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker, reportedly announced a hiatus during a secret acoustic show in Los Angeles, stating they are "going away for the foreseeable future." While video footage of the announcement has not been shared, the band played 13 songs during the sets. The announcement comes as the band is up for six Grammy nominations and following the release of their debut album, 'The Record', which was crowned NME's Album of The Year for 2023.
