The shows will be the Irish quartet’s first since 2019 and they will be the first band to play the 17,500-capacity Sphere, which is owned by the company that owns Madison Square Garden in New York. Fans will need to be U2.com subscribers or register for Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan scheme in order to obtain tickets due to high demand.

U2 has announced a series of shows titled "U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere" in Las Vegas this fall. The concerts will be themed around the 1991 "Achtung Baby" album, but the Edge says that Sphere itself was the reason for conceiving the new show. The capacity at the venue will be around 20,000 each night, and tickets start at $140. The facility, located a block from the Strip and adjacent to the Venetian, will also include new innovations in spatial audio, with thousands of targeted speakers tucked away behind the tens of thousands of LEDs.
