A driver was rescued after a box truck crashed and ended up hanging off an overpass at the interchange of I-35 and the Dallas North Tollway in Dallas. Urban Search and Rescue teams stabilized the truck and used a rope system to lift the driver to safety. Another vehicle was involved in the accident, and one person from that vehicle was also transported to the hospital. Expect traffic delays during rush hour.
A mother and her 5-year-old daughter were rescued from the San Joaquin River after their SUV crashed into the water. Bystanders witnessed the incident and two of them jumped into the river to help the child back to shore. One of the bystanders attempted to rescue the mother but was unsuccessful. The mother was later found on the shoreline with major injuries and was revived by emergency personnel. The witness who went after the driver is currently missing, and search efforts will continue.
A woman was miraculously rescued after falling off the 10th deck of a cruise ship. The incident occurred on the Harmony of the Seas, owned by Royal Caribbean. Despite the fall, the woman survived and was found alive in the water.
