
Peter Greene’s Death Ruled Accidental Gunshot at 60, Pulp Fiction Alum
Peter Greene, the actor known for playing Zed in Pulp Fiction, died December 12 in New York at age 60 from an accidental gunshot wound to the left armpit that damaged the brachial artery; New York’s Chief Medical Examiner ruled the death an accident. He was found after a wellness check prompted by a neighbor hearing nonstop music in his Lower East Side apartment. Greene appeared in nearly 100 films and TV shows, including The Mask, For Life, Chicago P.D. and Hawaii Five-0, and a posthumous performance in the drama Clika is planned.
