A 23-year-old man, identified as Dakota Michael Collin-Harris, died in a motorcycle crash on Fort Washington Way in downtown Cincinnati. He lost control of his motorcycle on the southbound I-71 ramp, fell off the overpass, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Excessive speed is being investigated as a contributing factor, but he was wearing a helmet.

The nine victims of a deadly crash on a Wisconsin highway have been identified, ranging in age from 6 months to 51. Eight of the victims were passengers in a van that collided with a semi-tractor truck, with the van's driver and seven passengers declared dead at the scene. A 2-year-old child in the van was injured and released from the hospital. The crash occurred when the van allegedly entered an intersection and was struck by the eastbound semi-tractor, resulting in a fire and multiple ejections from the van.
