Oscars Expand Membership with A-List Additions: Taylor Swift, Austin Butler, Ke Huy Quan, and 'RRR' Stars
Taylor Swift, Austin Butler, NTR Jr, Ram Charan, and Keke Palmer are among the 398 artists and executives invited to join the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences. The 2023 class is 40% women and 34% belong to underrepresented ethnic/racial communities. The invitees include recent Oscar nominees and winners, as well as global artists and talents. The Academy now has a total of 10,817 members, with 9,375 eligible to vote for the 96th Oscars in 2024.
