"Wildfire Forces Closure of Air Force Academy District 20 Schools"
Some schools in Academy District 20, Colorado, will be closed due to wildfire activity on the Air Force Academy, with Douglass Valley Elementary School closed and Air Academy High School transitioning to Synchronous eLearning. Bussing from USAFA was initially cancelled but later allowed for D20 students needing transportation. Before and after school care on USAFA will be cancelled, and the base will only be open to DoD ID cardholders, contractors, and those with scheduled appointments.
