MTV EMAs Canceled Amid Israel-Hamas Conflict: Global Celebration Put on Hold
The MTV Europe Music Awards, scheduled to take place in Paris on November 5, have been canceled due to the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict and the volatile world events. The decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the safety of employees, crew members, artists, fans, and partners. The organizers expressed that the current situation does not feel appropriate for a global celebration and instead is a moment of mourning. The awards show will be rescheduled for November 2024.
