Gender Bias in the Drafting of Utah's Constitution Exposed by Judge

However, Judge Paige Petersen reminded them that women did not help draft the Constitution in 1895, questioning how their rights were represented. Planned Parenthood, which is suing for the injunction on the ban, argued that it has standing to challenge the law as it directly regulates the organization and would harm their patients. The ban would force thousands to seek healthcare elsewhere or endure unwanted pregnancies and childbirth.
