Jerry Moss, co-founder of A&M Records alongside Herb Alpert, has passed away at the age of 88. A&M Records, known for its diverse roster of artists including Janet Jackson, the Carpenters, and Soundgarden, achieved great success with blockbuster albums such as Carole King's "Tapestry" and Peter Frampton's "Frampton Comes Alive!". Moss and Alpert started the label in Alpert's garage and built it into a $500 million company before selling it in 1989. Moss was remembered for his passion for making great records and nurturing new talent.
