Twins activate Farmer, demote Miranda to Triple-A after injury return.
The Minnesota Twins have demoted struggling third baseman José Miranda to Class AAA St. Paul and activated infielder Kyle Farmer from the injured list. Miranda, who had a strong rookie season in 2022, has struggled in 35 games this season, hitting .220 with three home runs and 13 RBI. Farmer has completed his rehab assignment and is hitting .226 with a home run in 11 games with the Twins.
