AliExpress is selling two new PCs, a 80386sx palmtop PC capable of running Windows 95 and an 8088 laptop for DOS, both made in 2023. These PCs are not evidence of aged chips going back into production but are the result of chip recycling. For around $250, buyers get a high spec 386sx PC and a useful 8088 machine, both in palmtop or clamshell laptop form factors. However, they may not be worth the price when compared to modern equivalents and emulation options.
