Multiple Shootings in Oakland Leave Child and Man Injured
An 8-year-old boy was injured in a shooting on Interstate 580 in Oakland when two vehicles were shooting at each other. The boy, who was in an unrelated vehicle, was struck by gunfire and has been transported to a local hospital for treatment. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating the incident, and all eastbound lanes on I-580 near Harrison are currently closed.
