Trainers can purchase the Masterwork Research for $5 and completing it will reward them with Shiny Mew. However, those who have already purchased it in the past will not be able to do so again. The Masterwork Research offers in-game bonuses such as increased Incense and Lure durations. The story is not time-limited, allowing players to complete it over a longer period of time.
