Netflix's upcoming war drama, "The Six Triple Eight," tells the true story of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only all-Black, all-female unit to serve overseas during World War II. These 855 women overcame discrimination and harsh conditions to clear a massive backlog of undelivered mail for American soldiers, completing their mission in just 90 days. The film, celebrating their resilience and unity, will be available in select theaters on December 6 and on Netflix from December 20, 2024.
