Steam Ends Support for macOS Mojave, Leaving 32-Bit Games in the Dust
Valve's Steam gaming marketplace will no longer support macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and 10.14 (Mojave) starting February 15, 2024. This change marks the end of support for the last versions of macOS that could run 32-bit games. While most of the Steam game library for Mac is 64-bit, there are still many 32-bit Mac games that will no longer be accessible through Steam. Valve will no longer consider games with only 32-bit macOS binaries to be Mac compatible by the end of 2023. This change is in response to Google ending support for macOS 10.13 and 10.14 in Chrome, as several parts of the Steam user experience rely on Chrome.
