Samsung's Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro support ultra-high-quality (UHQ) audio and 24-bit/96kHz playback via Samsung's SSC codec, plus 360-degree and multi-channel audio. However, UHQ is available only when paired with specific Samsung devices (e.g., Galaxy S23/S24/S25/S26, Z Fold 5–7, Z Flip 5–7, Z TriFold, Tab S9 with One UI 6.1.1+). A high-quality audio source is also required (services like Tidal or Amazon Music Unlimited), as popular apps such as Spotify or YouTube won't provide UHQ streaming. Future device compatibility may expand.
