
Arizona Falls at Kansas, Ends 23-Game Win Streak
Top-ranked Arizona's bid for an undefeated season ended with an 82-78 defeat at No. 9 Kansas, snapping the Wildcats’ program-record 23-game win streak as Kansas pulled away late. Arizona led 45-42 at halftime, but Kansas dominated the second half with an 8-0 run, aided by interior defense. Kansas was led by Flory Bidunga and Melvin Council with 23 points apiece, Bryson Tiller with 18 and Jamari McDowell with 10; Arizona was led by Brayden Burries with 25 and Ivan Kharchenkov with 13, while Jaden Bradley and Koa Peat struggled. Arizona shot 44.4% and 37.1% after halftime and went 8 of 14 from the line compared with Kansas’s 21 of 25. Kansas freshman Darryn Peterson sat out with flu-like symptoms. The Wildcats return home to host No. 16 Texas Tech with ESPN College GameDay on campus.
