The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, co-founded by George Lucas and Mellody Hobson, is set to open in Los Angeles on September 22, 2026. The 11-acre campus features a large collection of over 40,000 artworks, including illustrations, comic art, and photography, along with Lucas's archives. Designed by Ma Yansong, the museum aims to celebrate illustrated storytelling as a universal language and will include theaters, a library, and community spaces.
