Consumer Reports has released its list of the top 10 vehicles for 2024, with a focus on reliability as car prices continue to rise. Seven of the top picks are electric or plug-in hybrids, with starting prices under $30,000. The list includes the Subaru Crosstrek, Subaru Forester, Toyota Prius/Prius Prime, Mazda 3, Toyota Camry Hybrid, Ford Maverick/Maverick Hybrid, Tesla Model Y, Toyota Highlander Hybrid, BMW X5/X5 PHEV, and Toyota RAV4 Prime. Consumer Reports also issued its brand report card for 2024, with BMW ranking at the top and Jeep at the bottom.
