Norwegian Cruise Line Achieves Record Profits Amid Strong Demand
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings reported its first profitable year since 2019, with fourth-quarter losses narrowing significantly and strong growth in ticket demand. The company's 2023 net loss improved to $106.5 million from $482.5 million in the previous year, and it generated total revenue of $8.55 billion, a 32% increase from 2019, with a net income of $166.2 million. The company also expects an adjusted profit of about $635 million for the full year 2024, reflecting healthy consumer demand and record-high booking levels.
