Intel's 14th Gen CPUs deliver massive gaming performance boost with APO feature
Intel's new 14th Gen CPUs offer a boost to gaming performance with the introduction of the Intel Application Optimization (APO) feature. APO runs in the background and improves performance in games by directing application resources in real time. Games like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and Metro Exodus see impressive boosts in frame rates with APO enabled. However, support for APO is currently limited, and the installation process is cumbersome. Users need to install special drivers and enable Intel Dynamic Tuning Technology in the BIOS settings. Once installed, APO detects games and optimizes performance accordingly. Intel plans to continue testing and adding more games to the list of supported titles.
