Teenage Suspect Arrested for Murder of Elderly Man
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death of a 74-year-old man in Cherryvale, Kansas. The victim, Thaine Lee Anderson, was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Labette County Sheriff's Office are conducting the investigation, with assistance from Kansas Wildlife and Parks. The case will be prosecuted by the Labette County Attorney.
