Apex Legends Season 20, titled Breakout, is set to launch on February 13th, 2024, introducing a new Legend Upgrade system, 120Hz mode for next-gen consoles, and various gameplay changes including the removal of Shields from ground loot, a ranked reset, and map rotations. The update also brings a new limited-time mode, Straight Shot, and adjustments to RP scoring and matchmaking. Additionally, several Legends receive upgrades, and weapon balances and fixes for Steam Configs are in the works.
