Record-breaking performances dominate Day 3 of 2023 NCAA Men's Swimming Championships.
Brendan Burns won the men's 100 backstroke at the NCAA Championships with a time of 43.61, ranking him third all-time in the event. Burns knocked more than a half-second off his previous best time and defeated pre-race favorites Destin Lasco, Kacper Stokowski, and Adam Chaney. This marks Burns' second NCAA title, having won the 200 fly last season.
