"Hotel Rwanda" hero Rusesabagina reaches Qatar after release from prison.

Paul Rusesabagina, the former hotelier portrayed as a hero in the film Hotel Rwanda, has arrived in Qatar after being released from prison in Rwanda where he was serving a 25-year sentence over his ties to a group opposed to Rwandan President Paul Kagame. Rusesabagina's release followed months of negotiations between Washington and Kigali, and he will return to the US from Doha. Rwanda has said his release is the result of a shared desire to reset the US-Rwanda relationship.
