Massive London March Demands Permanent Cease-fire in Gaza

Tens of thousands of people marched in central London calling for a permanent cease-fire in Gaza, with at least five people arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred. The protest, part of a series of demonstrations held in European cities since the Israel-Hamas war began, took place on the second day of a four-day cease-fire. The Metropolitan Police deployed 1,500 officers to police the march and handed out leaflets clarifying what would be deemed a criminal offense. Pro-Palestinian protests were also organized in Paris, Vienna, and other French cities, while a separate march in London is planned to show solidarity with the Jewish community.
